Zane.

Sarcastic and overbearing, he is every guy you wish you could hate, but can't bring yourself to. Tall and skinny with long hair, his style tiptoes between the line of alternative and preppy. He can make fun of you for an hour and you will enjoy every minute of it, because deep down, you know this kid is best friend material. He's the type that will give you a ride, and when you go up to the door handle to get in the car, he'll drive away and laugh at you. He is frustrating, judgmental, enjoys double standards, and over dramatic. However, you know that you would be a little less you without him. Think Trent Ford or James Marsden in 27 Dresses. He's a city boy that makes you realize all the bad things about yourself, but you want him to fall in love with you anyway.

That's basically what he looks like in my head. And he is based off a real friend of mine from San Diego named Mark (MJ). The real life Zane is awesome, and I can talk to him about anything. He's been a source of comfort more than once.
